Honors Academy teachers have been accepted as NWU adjunct instructors. NWU assists participating high schools and teachers in providing the highest level of instruction and most effective learning environment for students enrolled in Honors Academy courses.
Earn college credit
Earn a college degree faster and have more time for a second major or job while in college.
Taking classes through the Wesleyan Honors Academy while in high school allowed me to begin earning credits toward my degree before I even stepped foot on campus. It gave me a sense of what to expect in college from the comfort of my high-school classrooms, which helped me to build the confidence to further my education at Nebraska Wesleyan.

Transfer credits anywhere
As a NACEP-accredited dual-credit program, your credits transfer almost anywhere.
As a member of the Wesleyan Honors Academy at Norris High School, I learned how to think at the college level. Through dual credit English courses, I learned how to read and write critically and effectively, while Advanced Biology exposed me to the merits and value of a liberal arts education.
